I have BIG news! My second book, a novel-in-stories titled HOPE, will be released by Unsolicited Press in November 2025. The novel follows a crew of weird and wonderful residents who live in a small island community in Alaska, including a 79-year-old witch with a big plan up her sleeve, a lonely roaming grizzly bear, a town mayor gone rogue, and forests full of ghosts. There's a bit of magic, a lot of dark realism, a sprinkling of humor. In other words, my usual jam.
When Unsolicited Press acquired HOPE a few weeks ago, it was initially scheduled to be released in 2026, which, hey, thrilling. Secretly, though, I was hoping that HOPE could be a part of Unsolicited Press's Year of the Womxn, 2025.
Low and behold, the publisher reached out recently to ask if I could have HOPE ready by next year. Well hell yeah! I can't imagine a better book for Year of the Womxn, and I am absolutely honored to be among these other incredible womxn authors. Stay tuned!
