Unsolicited Press Authors at Lit Crawl Sebastopol!

There are few places more beautiful than Sonoma in the spring: fruit trees clouds of pink and white, vineyards freshly leafed tucked into shadowed valleys and hills still green from winter rain, buckeyes sending up sweetly scented cones of white flowers, blue skies that stretch forever. Perfect time for an afternoon of live literature in wine country!

May 17, 5-6 PM, Sebastopol Community Market

Make a day of it. First stop by Wild Flour Bread in Freestone--a must if you're into the best brick oven-baked crusty, fragrant, cheesy, herby, sweet breads and scones on the planet. Then make your way to Sebastopol to browse the shops along the main drag. From consignment to thrift, global to local, Copperfield's Bookstore (where you'll find copies of our books), cafes, one of the best vegan restaurants you'll ever eat at, an artist cooperative--there's something for everyone.

I am thrilled to be able to share the stage with these accomplished Unsolicited Press authors. After a day of excellent food, great coffee, chilled wine, enjoy an hour of storytelling and poetry. Come say hi!

Bay Area Book Fest!

Imagine: streets and parks full of books, everyone's browsing, picking up books, touching them, rifling through their pages (that lovely book smell . . .), every style and genre to satisfy your every literary desire. This one's going to be a blast, friends. But the Bay Area Book Festival isn't just a book fair; there are incredible speakers and panels and parties. Find out all about it right here.

Unsolicited Press will have a table staffed at the book fair with some of its authors, including moi. It sure is nice to be IRL, right?
